Pala Indian Reservation VBS

Date: August 12, 2017

Time: Arrive at the Old Pala Tribal Hall by 9am. We plan to leave by 4:30pm.

Location: At the Old Pala Tribal Hall located about 1 ½ hours away from Anaheim (“Pena Road & Pala-Temecula Road” - Complete directions will be sent by email)

Transportation: We will not be arranging carpool or group transportation. However, you are more than welcome to carpool amongst your fellow team members.

Temperatures can be in the 90’s with no air conditioning so dress appropriately. Also, any fans or Ez-ups that you are able to bring down will be much appreciated to help make the day cooler for everyone. We will be having a hydration station with ice and water.

Last year, we ministered to over 80 attendees who live on the Pala Indian Reservation, ranging in age from preschoolers and babies all the way to the adults. Last year, we had 7 adults who made first-time decisions for Jesus. One of these decisions was made by a man, who was brought to the event especially to talk to a pastor by his wife, who was already a Christian.

Timeline for the day

7:15 am – Arrive at KACC to be driving by 7:30 a.m.

9 am – Arrive in Pala. Decorate and set-up stations. Final planning meeting. Volunteers needed to go with Steve Nino to pick up guests

10am to 11 am - Children and families begin arriving. Registration, Mini games, Balloons and Music until 11 am

11am to 11:15 am - Opening Main Stage Program

11:20 am to 11:40 am - VBS activities

11:40am to 11:55 pm - Snack time

12:00 pm to 12:40 pm - VBS activities

12:40 pm to 1:05 pm –Main stage program with presentation of the Gospel and Lunch Instructions

1:05 to 1:35 pm - Lunch

1:35 pm to 1:50 pm - Main stage program

1:55 pm to 2:55 pm - VBS activities

2:55 pm to 3:15 pm - Main stage program with presentation of the Gospel

3:15 to 3:30 pm - Crew leaders distribute gift bags

Around 3:25 pm, begin taking children and families home

Clean up and leave by 4:30 pm
