FaithWorks – a study through the Book of James

One of the major critiques of Christianity is that its followers are “hypocrites.” This appraisal is unavoidable, yet should be avoided. It is impossible for any Christian to live up to their standard of faith, Jesus Christ. This is the very reason the Bible promotes confession and repentance. On the other hand, Christians should attempt to live like Christ in all aspects of their lives. Every Christian lives with the tension of striving for perfection, while knowing it will never be achieved. To help us explore and understand this topic we will begin a study through the book of James, and see how it applies to our lives.
