KACC Weekly Update - January 13th 2016

Back to the Future Study

All Church

Continuing through the end of January

We are continuing with our series Back to the Future.  Many of our Bible studies and life groups are following the Back to the Future study with group questions and discussion. These questions as well as the message from last Sunday are available below.

Just for fun, we had the actual DeLorean from the Back to the Future Movie series on campus, with a visit from “Doc Brown.”  Hopefully you didn’t miss snapping a photo or two.  Here’s one with the Hammontre family – hmm Doc Brown looks a bit like our own Pastor Mike!

Grief Share

Men and Women

New session begins February 1st

Grief Share is designed to help you recover from the deep hurt associated with the loss of someone close to you. At each session, a video is viewed on an issue related to grief and loss. These videos feature top experts on a wide variety of subjects important to the grief recovery process. On each video, personal stories of people who have been through the grieving process will be shared. After the video, there will be a support type group discussion about the video as well as a sharing time for events in the member’s lives.

Facilitator: Linda Minner

KACC Co-Ed Volleyball League

Men and Women ages 16+

February 21st - May 1st

KACC offers a Co-Ed Volleyball League on Sundays, February 21 through May 1 in the Buena Park Jr. High gym (6931 Orangethorpe Ave, Buena Park, 90620). Game times are between 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. This league is designed not only for those in our church family who enjoy playing volleyball, but also as an outreach to introduce friends, co-workers and neighbors to KACC and the love of God.

There will be an “A” league for more experienced/skilled players, a “B” league for intermediate players, and a “C” league for people who just want some fun and recreation. We have different levels of play so that skill and competitiveness can be grouped together for more enjoyment and expansion of the league.

The league fee is $40 per person and includes a team shirt and referees. Registration is open to men and women age 16 and over.

You can pick up registration forms at the Evangelism table (grab extra registration forms for your friends) or sign up online (coming soon) at kacc.church. No practices are required to play on a team.
