KACC Weekly Update - March 2nd, 2016

New Message Series Beginning this Sunday

Sundays, March 6 |13|20

Pastor Paul Crandell teaching

Some of the most dramatic scenes in movies come when a character is giving his “dying words.” These last words move us emotionally and usually provide some clarifying insight into that character’s thinking. As the life of Jesus is portrayed in the book of Luke, there is a turning point where Jesus “set his face to go to Jerusalem.” He is heading toward the cross, toward His death. On this journey, His teaching becomes more focused and serious. Join us for this new series, as we unpack Jesus’ “dying words” on His way toward the cross.

Saturday, March 26th, 6:00 pm

Sunday, March 27th, 6:00 am (sunrise service) | 9:00 am | 10:45 am

Spanish Service 12:45 pm

Everyone wants a “happy ending.” All the movies and stories of our childhood have trained us to expect such an ending. As we journey through adulthood, we all hope that our hunt isn’t an empty pursuit. The Bible tells us that our hope is found in an empty tomb. Without this empty tomb our hope is empty. Come join us this Easter at KACC and see how the empty tomb gives us all the “happy ending” we are looking for.

Invite and bring family and friends to this special time of celebrating our risen Lord!  There will be a shuttle to alleviate parking congestion.  You can park at Western High School on Orange Avenue for the 9:00 am and 10:45 am services.  Consider using the shuttle service to make more room for our visitors.

Volunteers Needed!

Saturday, March 26 is our annual KACC Easter Egg Hunt.  We are seeking volunteers who can serve at this important community outreach.  Service areas include face painting, balloon twisting, or even simply egg hiding. We are also in major need of supplies to fill those eggs!  We need donations of plastic Easter eggs, as well as wrapped candies to fill them with. If you would like to donate or to register as a volunteer, please stop by the Creation Cove table on the weekends or the church office during the week.
