KACC Weekly Update - March 23rd, 2016

Good Friday Service

Friday, March 25

5:30 pm | English Service

7:00 pm | Spanish Service

Come join us for a time to look at the prophecy of Isaiah 53 to see how the “Stripes of Love” that Jesus took for us on Good Friday would bring the healing and peace only the Savior of the World could provide.  The Good Friday service will be a time of grateful reflection upon Jesus who was destined to be the servant who suffered so we could be free.

Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, March 26 | 11:00 – 1:00 pm

Saturday, March 26 is our annual KACC Easter Egg Hunt! We have enough snacks and volunteers, but we still have a critical need for donations of plastic Easter eggs, as well as wrapped candies to fill them! If you would like to donate, please stop by the church office before Saturday.

Easter Opportunities!

There is still time to invite your friends and family to one of our Easter services this weekend.  Don’t miss this chance to bring someone, a neighbor or a co-worker, maybe. They might just be waiting for an invitation from you!

Are you hosting the Easter Sunday gathering at your house this year?  Consider attending the Saturday evening service at 6:00 pm on March 26, or maybe get up before the sun and attend the Easter sunrise service at 6:00 am! This may be a win for you, as well as for our Easter visitors who may find it easier to find a parking spot for the 9:00 am and 10:45 am services.

Remember, there will be a shuttle on Easter morning to alleviate some of the parking congestion.  You can park at Western High School on Orange Avenue for the 9:00 am and 10:45 am services.  Consider using the shuttle service to make more room for our visitors and making it a little easier to exit after the services are over.

Bring your camera!  There will be a great photo opportunity set up so you can snap some family shots of everyone looking their Easter best!

The ABC's of Financial Freedom

New Message Series

Sundays, April 3 – May 4

Tired of being in debt?

The ABC’s of Financial Freedom has been instrumental in helping thousands of people all across America turn their financial situations around. Pastor Barry Cameron has written this book to help people discover the biblical principles that will teach them how to get out from under the burden and stress of debt and enable them to declare their own financial independence. The ABC’s of Financial Freedom can change your life, your family, your finances and your future forever!

What You Need to Know

Books are available at no cost to read in advance of the upcoming series. Pick one up at the Life Groups table on Sundays.

Starting April 3, a four-week message series that corresponds to the book will be taught during KACC services. On Sunday, May 1, a message will be given by guest speaker, Matt Cameron (the author’s son).

ALL groups of KACC will be going through a corresponding workbook for a 6-week small group study starting the week of April 3 and concluding May 14. The workbooks are $3 and can be purchased at the Life Groups table or from your Bible Study/Life Group leaders.

The small group study will continue one week beyond the preaching for more in-depth application of the principles.

There will be a new Life Group, Bible study listing in your bulletin this weekend.  If you haven’t already found a group – this would be a great opportunity to jump in!
