KACC Weekly Update - March 9th, 2016

Time Change Sunday!

Spring Forward

Don’t forget, Daylight Savings Time begins this Sunday, March 13. It will be time to “Spring Forward.”  Remember to turn your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed Saturday night. You may lose an hour of sleep, but you’ll be right on time for church on Sunday morning!

Comedy Night

Saturday, March 12th, 8pm

Tickets Still Available!

Our Comedy Night outreach is this Saturday evening, March 12 at 8:00 pm.  Time is running out to purchase tickets at the “priced to invite” rate of 2 for $15 and 4 for $25 (1 for $10).  This special rate is only available through Thursday, March 10.  After this deadline, tickets will be $15 each at the door.  Don’t miss the opportunity to invite your friends to this fun evening and introduce them to KACC.

Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, March 26, 11:00am - 1:00pm

Volunteers Needed!

Saturday, March 26 is our annual KACC Easter Egg Hunt.  We are seeking volunteers who can serve at this important community outreach.  Service areas include face painting, balloon twisting, or even simply egg hiding. We are also in major need of supplies to fill those eggs!  We need donations of plastic Easter eggs, as well as wrapped candies to fill them. If you would like to donate or to register as a volunteer, please stop by the Creation Cove table on Sunday, or the church office during the week.

Good Friday Service

Friday, March 25

5:30 pm English Service

7:00 pm Spanish Service

Come join us for a time to look at the prophecy of Isaiah 53 to see how the “Stripes of Love” that Jesus took for us on Good Friday would bring the healing and peace only the Savior of the World could provide.  The Good Friday service will be a time of grateful reflection upon Jesus who was destined to be the servant who suffered so we could be free.

Sharing Easter

Last Saturday morning, over 150 of you took to the streets to pray for our community and invite them to our Easter services and upcoming events!  Over 9,000 invitation cards were distributed to our surrounding neighborhoods! The last 1,000 cards have also already been shared! This Sunday, you will find some small business card-sized invitations in your bulletin.  Use these to invite family, friends, co-workers and others that you meet, to this special time of celebrating our risen Lord!

There will be a shuttle on Easter morning to alleviate parking congestion.  You can park at Western High School on Orange Avenue for the 9:00 am and 10:45 am services. Consider using the shuttle service to make more room for our visitors.
