WHO WE ARE
(5-week series on the values of the church, beginning September 18)
Sundays, September 18 – October 16
This is a series about our past, present and future. Before we look deep into the future to where we feel God is taking us, we need to understand “Who We Are” as a church. “Who We Are” is a blend of the past and present that acts as a compass for the future. As a leadership team, we have prayerfully reflected on the unique values that have made KACC the church that it is today. We strongly believe that embracing and articulating those values in a relevant way will lead into the bright future that God has for us. Join us during this series as we unpack the five unique values of KACC that will guide us to where God wants us to be in the future.
EVERY FIRST AND THIRD SUNDAY
Elder prayer time this Sunday, September 18, after each service Modular 301
The elders take very seriously their responsibility as laid out in James 5:14, concerning praying for others. Our elders will be available the first Sunday of every month to pray over anyone having a need during a congregational prayer time. They will also be available to pray on the third Sunday of each month following both the 9:00 am and 10:45 am services. Starting this Sunday, September 18, you can go to Modular 301 (enter the door from the north parking lot) for prayer and anointing with oil, if wanted. Those desiring prayer are encouraged to make themselves available for these opportunities.
GET ON A TEAM! - DO LIFE TOGETHER
Right now is a great time to get into a group! Life Groups are small group Bible studies of 8-15 people where you can find others who will specifically pray for and support you at KACC on a weekly basis. It will also be a place where you can pray for and invest in the lives of others and build lifelong relationships. Life Groups are designed to help you grow in your relationship with God, the purposes of His church and God’s Kingdom here on earth.
We had fun last Sunday wearing our favorite baseball gear to draw attention to the opportunity we have to find a “team” of brothers and sisters in Christ here at KACC. Maybe you even had a chance to dunk Pastor Paul in the dunk tank! The important message behind the fun is that the Christian life is meant to be connected as a team. Don’t miss the opportunity to share life together and grow in faith - find a group that works for you. There is a listing of the life groups both on and off campus below. The list will also be available in the lobby on Sunday.

Haiti Partners’ mission is to help Haitians change Haiti through education. They currently run one school, partner with six more, and believe growing children need quality meals to help them learn and develop. Our goal is to have 1500 check-ins this month to provide 750 meals! To learn more about Haiti Partners, check out their site: https://haitipartners.org
When you check in on Facebook, you can add #meals4students to your posts. It’s a great way to remind your friends and family why you’re checking in!
