MAKE A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER

REMEMBER TO GET OUT THERE AND… FILL A BAG WITH YOUR NEIGHBOR’S HELP!

Last Sunday we were challenged to help fill our food pantry with the assistance of our neighbors, and share the love of God in a tangible way in our community, TOGETHER. Don’t forget to bring your red bag back to church this Sunday. Let’s bring them back FULL!
We can build community with our neighbors while making a difference together!

MEGA NIGHT INVASION

WE NEED MORE HOMES, VOLUNTEERS AND CANDY

On Tuesday, October 31, we are invading our neighborhoods with the love of God in a fun and practical way. We want to provide the best candy on the block with full-sized candy bars along with a totally fun atmosphere that might include games, mazes, arts and crafts or whatever your “Home Team” desires to put together. KACC will provide the full-sized candy bars along with signs and invitations to our December 8th Winter Wonderland and upcoming events.

Our goal is to have 50 homes from our church family making a difference together in our local neighborhoods. Right now we have 27 homes, so we are asking God to raise up 23 more homes for even more impact. If you would like to offer your home, or volunteer at a Mega Night Invasion home, let us know. You can call the church office or sign up on your Connect Card this Sunday.

We can also use more donations of full-sized candy bars to hand out at each home so that the kids will remember that the best stuff came from people who love Jesus!

PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH

DID YOU KNOW THAT OCTOBER IS PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH?

The Apostle Paul encourages us, “to appreciate those who work hard among you, who lead you in the Lord and teach you. Respect them with a very special love because of the work they do” (1 Thess. 5:12-13a).

Every October across the country, churches give focused attention to appreciating their pastors in tangible ways. Let’s shower Pastor Paul and our KACC pastors with some love this month! Tell them, write an email, or send a note, sharing how they have specifically impacted your life, thank them for answering God’s call, encourage them with words of blessing. These words of affirmation will be of GREAT encouragement to them.

This October, every 6 check-ins will provide a nutrient rich meal to a child in need. Let’s provide 250 meals! For more information about this month’s mission, check out www.compassion.com.
