THE FIRST CHRISTMAS: Abraham's Gift and
Sacrifice
New Series beginning this Sunday, December 3
When we get into the holiday season and shopping becomes a priority, we frequently try and remind ourselves about the "true meaning" of Christmas. We tell ourselves and our kids to think about others and focus on Christ's birth. Looking back 2,000 years to Christ's birth helps us to see a fuller picture of Christmas. This series we'll look back another 2,000 years to the birth of Isaac, Abraham's son. Isaac's birth and Jesus's birth are closely connected in the Bible. Understanding Isaac's birth helps us to better understand Christ's birth. Over the next four weeks, we will look at how both these birth stories help us better see what God is teaching us in the Christmas story.

WINTER WONDERLAND
Don’t miss out on being a part of our Charlie Brown-themed outreach to our community coming up next Friday, December 8! We still need bilingual greeters, people to help with the snow areas, photographers and various other opportunities from decorating to serving hot chocolate. Check out the sign up on our website or visit the Make a Difference Together table on Sunday. Let’s make this special event, the best ever!

CHRISTMAS WRAPPING OUTREACH
Here’s a fun way you can share the love of Christ in our community this Christmas. On Saturday, December 16 we need 40 people to wrap presents for free in two hour shifts from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. inside the mall at Buena Park Downtown. The later shifts get more customers so we need more wrappers then. We can also use donations of wrapping paper, tape and bows. Sign-up at the Make a Difference table.

THE CHRISTMAS NIGHT

Bring the whole family and join us in a glorious celebration of the season through a selection of Christmas favorites performed in handbells, handchimes and other instruments, presented by our own Eng Family – The Eng Family Ringers! There are two opportunities to attend this special program on Tuesday, December 19, 10:00 am and 7:00 pm in the KACC Auditorium. Invite friends and family to this beautiful presentation.

#BOOKS4KIDS
Do you remember learning Bible stories as a kid? There are children throughout the world that don’t have access to Gospel picture books. That’s why this December, we’re providing age appropriate, faith-based books for children in developing nations, through our partnership with OneHope. Every 3 check-ins provides a book to a child. OneHope presents the Word of God in an engaging way to children and youth. You can check them out here, http://onehope.net.

TUESDAYS WITH PAUL
Hey, church family, don’t miss "Tuesdays with Paul." On Tuesdays, Pastor Paul is sharing some additional thoughts on the prior Sunday’s message on a short video. Check it out on Facebook and Instagram. Make sure to watch, comment and share!
