KACC Weekly Update - February 8th, 2017

This February, we’re asking you to check-in with love. We are once again partnering with Compassion International to help children in need who are waiting for a sponsor.

Every 6 check-ins on Facebook provides a day of care for a child in poverty. In the program, the children will receive: nutritious meals to combat hunger, health assessments to identify medical needs, lessons in reading, writing and math, training for proper hygiene practices, and the opportunity to hear about God’s love for them.

In October last year, we were able to provide 301 days of care, we’d love to do more this month.

Visit Compassion International’s Facebook page and website to learn more about how they care for children in need all over the world.

The Worship Ministry is a service opportunity that offers a unique experience serving our KACC church family. For the month of February, we are again providing a point-of-contact for our church with the Worship Ministry at the Information Center on Sundays. Some opportunities to consider are instruments, voices, media and hospitality. We’d love to start a conversation with you!

It was awesome to hear our preschool children sing for our services last week as the KACC Early Childhood Development Center is celebrates 40 years! They have always had the same mission - providing a safe and loving environment that allows children to learn about the love of Christ and get a head start on education.
