GOOD FRIDAY

As we humbly and gratefully worship Jesus Christ for going to the cross in our place we are called to follow in His steps of sacrifice as he set an example for us to follow. Come to worship our great savior’s sacrifice and learn how to walk as he did as you live out your faith in Him.

EASTER

Sunday, April 16
6:00 am | 9:00 am | 10:45 am | 12:45 pm (Spanish)

Easter is this Sunday, April 16! We’ve been getting ready for our guests with many projects to help make their visit a memorable one, but we need for all of us to be inviting them! People are more likely to come to church when invited by someone they know. Let them know that our services are: Easter Sunday at 6:00 am, sunrise service (dress warmly, enjoy free coffee and donuts), 9:00 am and 10:45 am, 12:45 p.m. (Spanish). Don’t forget, unless you are bringing guests, take advantage of our shuttle! (info below).

EASTER SHUTTLE

There will be a shuttle again this year to alleviate any parking congestion. You can park at Western High School at 501 S. Orange Ave. (between Knott and Western) for the 9:00 am and 10:45 am services. The shuttle will take you to church and return you to your car following the services. The shuttle service will run from 8:30 am to 12:20 pm. Consider using the shuttle to make more room for our Easter visitors!

NEW MESSAGE SERIES COMING APRIL 23

Almost every parent fears the day when their kids will ask, “Dad, where do babies come from?” That awkward moment makes you want to say, “Go, ask your Mom.” In 2017, that question pales in comparison to the questions our kids are facing. The difference between what kids experience now and what their parents experienced as teenagers is enormous. Our kid’s questions, about homosexuality, gender, and politics, leave us feeling “awkward” and “out of touch.” Join us as we walk through these questions from our teenagers and seek to find God’s answers. This series will include an all-church study. If you haven’t yet found a life group, this is the perfect time to join in!

#VITAMINS4KIDS

For the month April we are partnering with Vitamin Angels. Their mission is to help at-risk populations – specifically pregnant women, new mothers, and children under five – gain access to lifesaving vitamins and minerals needed as a foundation for good health. Every 2 check-ins on Facebook this month will provide a year of vitamins for children in 54 countries, including the US. In March we surpassed our goal of 750 #meals4kids by providing 850 meals! Let’s do it again! Check-in and help children get necessary vitamins.

ONE VERSE EVANGELISM CLASS

Learn how to share your faith in Jesus as your Savior and Lord with one verse using the simple illustration of the “Romans 6:23 Bridge.” This class will be five Thursday nights at 7:00-9:00 p.m. from April 20 – May 18. Sign up at the Evangelism table at the Information Center and help us visit our Easter visitors!
