KACC Weekly Update - May 10th, 2017

Mothers hold a very special role in our lives and in the life of our church. We hope that you plan to make KACC part of your family celebration this Sunday. After the services, capture the memory of this special day at one (or more) of the unique Mother’s Day photo vignettes. Moms, stop by the Amazing Glaze Café after either service on this Sunday and pick up a special Mother’s Day treat.

This May, in celebration of mothers all over the world, every 5 check-ins will provide food for a mother and her new baby for one day. Compassion International is the world’s leading authority in holistic child development through sponsorship. Through their ‘Child Survival Program’, Compassion was able to help over 64,000 mothers and babies so far. The program is run in places like Haiti, El Salvador, Kenya, and Indonesia - where mothers and babies need the most help. Let’s help them, by checking-in!

The Worship Ministry is a service opportunity that offers a unique experience serving our KACC church family. For the month of May, we will again provide a point-of- contact for our church with the Worship Ministry at the Information Center. Some opportunities to consider are instruments, voices, media and hospitality. Consider finding about our team. We’d love to start a conversation with you!

Our morning church services on May 28 will be especially designed to honor fallen heroes, military and first responders. Purchase an American flag in memory or honor of a veteran or first responder that will be displayed in front of the church for Memorial Day Weekend. Purchase the flag at the information booth for $5.00 and then take it home after the 10:45 am service on May 28.
