KACC Weekly Update - May 24th, 2017

REMEMBERING OUR HEROES

Our morning church services this Sunday will be especially designed to honor fallen heroes, veterans and first responders with elements especially designed to thank them for what they have done and continue to do for our nation and community. The American flags displayed in front of the church are flying in honor and remembrance of veterans and first responders. If you purchased a flag you can take it home after the 10:45 am service on May 28.

SUMMER FAMILY BBQ

Join in for some family fun after second service on three Sundays this summer. We’ll have BBQ hamburgers and hotdogs with all the fixings for $5. Not only will it be great to spend time with your church family and share a good lunch, but the proceeds above the cost of the meal will go to help us finish paying for our parking lot. Save these dates, June 11, July 23, and September 10. More details to come!

WORSHIP MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

The Worship Ministry is a service opportunity that offers a unique experience serving our KACC church family. For the month of May, we will again provide a point-of- contact for our church with the Worship Ministry at the Information Center. Some opportunities to consider are instruments, voices, media, stage set up and hospitality. Consider finding about our team. We’d love to start a conversation with you!

#CARE4MOMS

This May, in celebration of mothers all over the world, every 5 check-ins will provide food for a mother and her new baby for one day. Compassion International is the world’s leading authority in holistic child development through sponsorship. Through their ‘Child Survival Program’, Compassion was able to help over 64,000 mothers and babies so far. The program is run in places like Haiti, El Salvador, Kenya, and Indonesia - where mothers and babies need the most help. Together we have provided 238 days of food for moms and their babies so far. Let’s continue to help by checking-in!
