HURRICANE HARVEY RELIEF
We are partnering with Samaritan's Purse to provide relief funds to Texas. Samaritan's
Purse has mobilized staff and equipment, and they are enlisting thousands of volunteers to provide emergency aid to victims of Hurricane Harvey in the name of Jesus Christ. After sharing the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus said “Go and do likewise.” That is the mission of Samaritan's Purse—to follow the example of Christ by helping those in need and proclaiming the hope of the Gospel. We want to help, too!
This Sunday, we will again have boxes on the landings to receive your financial gifts to assist with the relief efforts.
Listen to a message from Franklin Graham.
Beginning this Sunday, we will again team up with Haiti Partners to empower through education. Last September we were able to provide 832 meals for children in Haiti. This September, every 10 check-ins will provide a day of school to a child in in this country with so much need. Let’s provide 150 kids with a day of school! If you want to learn more about Haiti Partners, you can check them out at https://haitipartners.org/. The hashtag this month is #school4kids.
